Frank S. Robinson

Frank S. Robinson, 91, of Beaumont, died Monday, November 16, 2015, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of the area, he was born on February 6, 1924, to Ida Alice Bush and Cecil Earl Robinson, and was a United States Navy veteran. Frank retired as a commercial serviceman for AT&T.

Survivors include his daughter, Jann LeBlanc and her husband, Robert, of Jackson, Tennessee; grandchildren, Alan Stone of Beaumont, Joanna Mckinney of Iowa, Elyse Stone of Beaumont, Brittany Stone of Buna, Will Mckinney of Lumberton, and Brent Stone, Dillon Robinson, Hayden Robinson, Bayly Robinson, and Mason Robinson, all of Beaumont; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Katherine Huckaby of Vidor. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia Robinson; one son, Layne Robinson; and sister, Betty Jo Talbert.

A gathering of Mr. Robinson’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
