Raymond
Joseph Stout, 89, of Beaumont, died Sunday, November 15, 2015, at Christus
Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of this area,
he was born on May 30, 1926, to Annie Stansbury Stout and Rudolph Joseph Stout.
Raymond was a United States Navy veteran having served in World War II. He
retired from 7 UP Bottling Company after thirty-seven years.
Survivors
include his wife of sixty-eight years, Shirley Stout; son, Rodney Stout of
Houston and Randy Stout and his wife, Darla, of Orange; daughter, Sharon Stout
of Beaumont; grandson, Ryan Stout and his wife, Lisa, of Houston;
great-grandchildren, Slade Stout and Skylar Stout; brother, R.J. Stout of
Beaumont; and several nieces and nephews.
He
is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Elaine Meneffee, Ramona
Budd, and Dorothy Hardin.
A
memorial service for Mr. Stout will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 21,
2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation
arrangements were held through Broussard’s Crematorium.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to the second floor of St.
Elizabeth for the care of their dad, and also to Tommy Cunningham and Margaret
Yoes for their friendship and help in caring for Raymond.
