Jerry “J.P” Connolly,
58, of Vidor, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at UTMB Galveston. He was born
on November 11, 1957, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Sybil Harper Connolly and
Richard Gene Connolly.
J.P. was a retired
Beaumont Police Officer, having served on the force for thirty-four years.
He is survived by his
wife, Karen Ann Connolly of Vidor; sons, Owen Connolly and his wife, LeDawn, of
Abilene; Nate Connolly and his partner, Kevin, of Augusta, Georgia; Duncan
Connolly and his wife, Tamra; Conor Connolly and his wife, Janie; Jed Connolly;
Peter Connolly and Callie Tippett; and Aidan Connolly, all of Vidor; sister
Candi Walrath and her husband, Dave; nephews, Chris Walrath, Chad Walrath and
family, all of Savona, New York; and his extended family in Georgia.
J.P. is preceded in
death by his son, Ryan Connolly; and his mother Sybil Harper Connolly.
A memorial service for
Mr. Connolly will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000
McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His cremation will be held under the direction of
Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
