Hazel L. Kettl
February 21, 1939 - November 10, 2015

Hazel L. Kettl, 76, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Christus Dubuis Hospital, Beaumont. She was born on February 21, 1939, to Rosie Stafford Kimball and Leonard Lee Kimball, Sr. She retired as a clerk from O’Bannion’s Grocery.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Nell Armentrout and her husband, Don, of Beaumont and Diana L. West of Winnie; foster children, Vergie Melancon and her husband, Danny, of China and Jose Carrion and his wife, Audrey, of Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and brother, Alvin Kimball of Livingston.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo W. Kettl, Sr.; daughter, Linda Kay McIntyre; son, Leo W. Kettl, Sr.; and grandsons, Kelby West and Casey McIntyre.

 

A gathering of Mrs. Kettl’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m. with her funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Interment will follow at China Cemetery, China.
