“My Daddy made a life
dedicated to family and friends – old and new, his ancestral farm, and beloved
animals (especially the babies). Genuine, loyal, and inherently kind, he
literally never met a stranger. He was selflessly generous both materially and
of himself; a mentor, father, friend to many, roadside savior to anyone in
need. Unique spirituality, a tremendous wealth of knowledge, commitment to hard
work, love of spontaneous adventure and contagious – often irreverent sense of
humor define his invaluable legacy.” ~ Candace Hebert
Love is patient, love
is kind. It is not jealous, is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude,
it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood
over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. ~1 Corinthians 13:4-7
