Alice Jeannenne Gore, 77, of
Kountze, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015.
She was born on May 22, 1938, in Rockdale, to Nannie Alice Moreman
Glover and Bert Wesley Glover. A resident
of Kountze for nineteen years, Alice
retired from Brookshire Brothers as a corporate trainer.
Survivors include her husband,
Bill Gore; children, Alice Rene Guidry of Georgetown; Wesley Dell Guidry and
his wife, Linda, of Santa Fe; and Annita May Gore of Atascocita; and Jackie
Robertson and her husband, Robie, of Thicket; step-children, Alvis Gore and his
wife, Nancy, of China; Ricky Gore of Segno; Mark Gore and his wife, Brenda, of
Kountze; and Joe Lynn Gore of Segno; forty grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her
parents; brother, Charles Wesley Glover; and sister, Donna Jean Glover.
A gathering of Mrs. Gore's family
and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2015,
at Broussard's, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Her funeral service will be 10:00
a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Broussard's, with her interment to follow
at Campground Cemetery, Woodville.
