Willie Mae Lynch (Low) Arnold,
93, of Port Neches, died Thursday, October 29, 2015. She was born on June 2,
1922, in Bayou, Texas, to Oyen Francis and Nannie (Travis) Lynch.
Willie Mae loved her
family, gardening, sewing, and Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors: daughter,
Patsy Low Lummus and husband, Glenn, of Nederland; sons, Byron, Marty, and
Rodney Arnold, all of Mid County; grandchildren, Max, Heather, Ross, Reba,
Rebecca, Eli, Zachary, Adam, Alexia, Destiny, Catherine, Jennifer, Karen, and George,
Jr.; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in
death by her parents; son, Jimmie Low; and all her siblings.
A gathering of Ms.
Arnold’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday,
November 1, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2015, at E.E.
Stringer Funeral Home, 111 South Margaret Avenue, Kirbyville, under the
direction of Broussard’s, Nederland. Interment will follow at Hemphill Cemetery,
Hemphill.
