Robert Fulton “Bob” Burns, 76, of
Silsbee, died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth,
Beaumont. He
was born on March 18, 1939, in Calvert, to Lillie Dell Fulton Burns and Oliver
Burns. Survivors include his son, Robert
Fulton Burns, Jr.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother,
Ernest Eugene Burns and his wife, Sally, of Katy; four nieces; one nephew; and
numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his
parents; wife, Barbara Ann Lamb Burns; and daughter, Elizabeth Ann Burns.
A gathering of Mr. Burns’ family
and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2015,
at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road,
Silsbee. His funeral service will be
10:00 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2015, at Broussard’s, with his interment to
follow at Antioch
Cemetery, Buna.
