Jason Willis, 40, of
Beaumont, died Sunday, October 18, 2015. He was born on November 20, 1974, in
Oakdale, Louisiana, to Helen Wanda Willis and Eddie Ray Blackwell.
Jason enjoyed music,
movies, WWE wrestling, and dancing. He was also a Houston Texans fan.
Survivors include his
mother, Helen Blackwell; brother, Michael Blackwell and his wife, Heather, of
Groves; nieces, Hannah and Chloey Blackwell, and Lauren Buffington; several
aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was
preceded in death by his father, Eddie Blackwell.
A gathering of Mr.
Willis’ family and friends will be from 12 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October
20, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. An
additional gathering will be 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at White Oaks Funeral Home, 110 South 12th
Street, Oakdale, Louisiana. His interment will follow at Occupy #1 Cemetery,
Pitkin, Louisiana.
