Lena
Belle Broussard, 92, of Beaumont, died Saturday, October 17, 2015. She was born
on August 1, 1923, to Vina Pittman Wilkerson and James Wilkerson, in Vidor.
Lena loved to dance, crochet, and cook. She was a loving and generous person.
While Lena did not have any children, she treated everyone like they were her
very own.
Survivors
include her husband, Eddie J. Broussard; niece, Sheila Sikes and her husband,
Doug, of Beaumont; cousins, Lois Bailey, Laula Faye George, and J.D. Pittman,
and Molly Hancock and her husband, Jim.
Lena
is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dick Wilkerson.
A
gathering of Mrs. Broussard’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m. with
her service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Broussard’s,
1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn
Memorial Park, Beaumont.
