Susan
Gordon Herrington, 63, of Beaumont, died Monday, October 12, 2015. She was born
on February 7, 1952, in Helena, Arkansas, to Betty Jean Gordon and James F.
Gordon, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Suzi was a Registered
Nurse of forty years, having worked in several hospitals throughout the area.
She
loved to read and going to movies. Suzi loved spending time with her family
and friends. She enjoyed being a nurse and taking care of others. Suzi loved
life and never met a stranger.
She
is survived by her husband, Tommy Herrington, of Beaumont; children, Jimbo
Muffoletto and his wife, Autum, of Lumberton and Beckah Muffoletto Brown and
her husband Patrick, of Beaumont; stepdaughters, Heather Buchanan and her
husband, David, of Sour Lake and Amanda DeLoach and her husband, Matt, of
Kountze; grandchildren, Cierra Brown, Micah Brown, and Blake Muffoletto; and
brothers, Jimmy Gordon, and his wife, Madelyn and Rayne Gordon and his wife,
Ella, all of Helena, Arkansas.
A
gathering of Mrs. Herrington’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m.,
with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2015, at
First Baptist Church, 1206 South Main, Lumberton. Her interment will follow at
Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605
North Major Drive, Beaumont.
