James "Dynamite" B. Cheshire

"Dynamite" James B.
Cheshire, 82, of Kountze, died Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth,
Beaumont. He was born on March 22, 1933, in Bon Wier,
to Johnnie Myrtle Milligan Cheshire and William Clinton Cheshire. Dynamite was a retired journeyman with
Ironworkers Local 125
Survivors include his wife, Frances Cheshire; children,
Deborah Ann Overstreet and her husband, Byron, of Broaddus; Cindy Reed and her
husband, David, of Kountze; Diane Wilson and her husband, Rodney, of Kountze;
Tina Marie Stanley and her husband, Larry Paul, of Grapeland; Jim Cheshire of
Kountze; and Clint Cheshire and his wife, Erica, of Lumberton; fourteen
grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Carolyn Davis of
Cabool, Missouri and Vera Smith of Kountze.
He is preceded in death by his
parents; daughter, Missy Cheshire;
grandson, Christopher Shane Cheshire; and siblings, Willa Maude Cheshire, J.C. Cheshire, Billy
Ray Cheshire, Ina Risner, and Sallie Bea Smyth.
A gathering of Mr. Cheshire's
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October
14, 2015, at Broussard's, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m.,
Thursday, October 15, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Kountze, 100 Monroe,
Kountze, with his interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
