Adolph Pierre “B”
Duhon, 85, of Hamshire, died Friday, October 2, 2015. He was born on February
4, 1930, in Kaplan, Lousiana, to Ada Bertrand and Joseph Duhon. Adolph was a United
States Air Force veteran, retired barber, and horse trainer.
Survivors include his
sons, Gary Duhon; Paul Duhon; Joe Duhon and his wife,
Julie; daughter, Valerie Chesson and her husband, Wayne; brothers, Roosevelt
“Tee” Duhon and his wife, Sue; Caldon Duhon and his wife, Darlene; and Robert
Duhon and his wife, Phabrice; sisters, Beth Phelps; Peggy Leger and her
husband, David; and Faye Young and her husband, Bruce; eleven grandchildren;
eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death
by his parents; wife, Connie Duhon; brother, Farnes Duhon; and sister, Mary
Hebert.
A Christian Vigil for
Mr. Duhon will be 5:00 p.m., followed by a gathering of his family and friends
until 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 5, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer
Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 6,
2015, at Broussard’s, Winnie, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery,
Winnie.
