Juan
“Johnny” Lopez, 60, of Sour Lake, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was born on April 27, 1955, in Sinton, to
Minerva Gomez Lopez and Alexjandro Lopez.
Johnny
is survived by his wife, Phyllis Lopez, of Sour Lake; mother, Minerva Lopez, of
Gregory; daughters, Missy Keel, of Sour Lake; and Manita Bush and her husband,
Charles, of Baytown; son, Joey Keel; brother, Pete Lopez, of Gregory; sisters,
Lydia Ortiz, of Portland and Rosie Cantu, of Shepherd, and grandchildren,
Kindall Keel, Karsyn Keel, Kiley Keel, and Noah Bush.
He
is preceded in death by his Father.
A
Rosary for Mr. Lopez will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering to follow
until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin
Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Our
Lady Of Victory Catholic Church, 225 West Barkley, Sour Lake, with interment to
follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady Of Victory Catholic Church, P.O. 1359, Sour Lake, Texas 77659.
