John Henry Heflin

John Henry Heflin, 84, of Vidor, died Friday,
September 4, 2015 at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on August 1, 1931,
in Canton, Mississippi, to Ida Emoline Vess and James Joseph Heflin and was the
youngest of seven children. John was a United States Navy veteran who fought in
the Korean War.
Survivors include sons, Keith Heflin and Marcus
Heflin; daughter, Shelia Richards; grandchildren, Jonathan Richards, Cody Heflin,
Tyler Heflin, Justin Heflin; great-grandchildren, Joseph Heflin and Jocelynn
Heflin.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife,
Betty Heflin.
A
gathering of Mr. Heflin’s family and friends will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00
p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue,
Beaumont. His graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Restlawn Memorial Park,
2725 North Main Street, Vidor.
