Billie Jo Rohacek-Warren

Billie Jo Rohacek-Warren, 39, of Port Bolivar, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. She was born November 22, 1975, to Juanita “Skip” Gibson Rohacek and Joseph “Joe” Rohacek, in Galveston. Billie Jo loved her family, and her dear best friends, Wendi Clark and Kandi Robertson. She was always concerned for other people. Some of her happiest times were working at the Outrigger Grill.                       

Survivors include her husband, Jason Warren; and son, Gavin Van Warren, both of Port Bolivar; sisters, Cindy Rohacek; Sherry Chess and husband, Ron; Lisa Ward and husband, Rex; Jackie Monteau and  husband, Gary; Jodie Barrow and husband, Kendall and Jennifer Jackson and husband, Rowe; and many nieces and nephews.  

Ms. Rohacek-Warren was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Skip Rohacek.  

A gathering of Ms. Rohacek-Warren’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Bay Vue Methodist Church, 1141 State Highway 87, Crystal Beach, with interment to follow at Crystal Beach Cemetery, Crystal Beach. 

There will be a reception to follow the services, at Port Bolivar Fire Station, 1806 Broadway, Port Bolivar.  

Special thanks to the ICU doctors and nurses at UTMB for their dedication, compassion and tireless efforts to get Billie Jo well. Also, to Dr. Joan Richardson’s endless support through Billie Jo’s life.
