Lucille Broussard
February 17, 1931 - August 31, 2015
Lucille (Domec) Broussard, 84, of Nederland, went to be with our Lord on August
31, 2015, surrounded by family who embraced her with overflowing love and
affection. She was born on February 17, 1931, in Port Arthur, TX
, to Gilberte and Francois Domec. Lucille wed Wilson Fred Broussard on August
26, 1950.
Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother who dedicated her life to raising and nurturing her family. As
a wife, Lucille and Wilson shared 65 years together; and they proudly raised eight
children. As a devoted mother, she was always caring and watched over the
health and well-being of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Lucille enjoyed reading, traveling, her flower gardens, doing
word search puzzles and spending quality time with her family. She loved to sew special clothing for her
grandchildren and especially enjoyed finding unique gifts for her family at
garage sales.
A part of our hearts will always hold her presence, and the
memories we keep will be filled with love and happiness. We are so grateful to
have been blessed with such a wonderful woman, who taught us to love God and
each other. She will be in our hearts forever, and we will honor her memories
always.
