Corrine Flitcraft,
92, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015. She was born on February 10, 1923, in
Beaumont, to Rose and Hugh Chapman.
Corrine is survived
by her sons, Melvin Flitcraft and his wife, Alice, of Fannett; Ronnie and his
wife, Marilyn, of Bridge City; and Wallace and his wife, Mary, of Beaumont;
nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren;
brother, Willie Chapman and his wife, Shirley, of Beaumont; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in
death by her parents; husband, Fred “Lea” Flitcraft; son, Robert Flitcraft; and
sisters, Gladys Hatton, Kathleen McMahon, and Marie Hansen.
A gathering of Mrs.
Flitcraft’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.,
Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m.,
Sunday, August 23, 2015, at South Park Baptist Church, 795 Woodrow, Beaumont,
with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
