Wilma Ernestine Cash

Wilma Ernestine Cash, 84, of Silsbee, received her crown of glory on Sunday, August 16, 2015, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born on April 26, 1931, in Spurger, to Bertie Mae Best Bingham and Durham Bingham. Mrs. Cash was a lifelong resident of the area.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Cash of Silsbee; daughters, Connie Helms of Vidor and Diane Darcy and her husband, Phillip, of Aledo; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine Chandlier of Liberty; and the wonderful staff at Silsbee Oaks.

A gathering of Mrs. Cash’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, Silsbee
