Neva Lois Corson, 68, of Nederland,
died Thursday, July 16, 2015. She was born on August 15, 1946, in Jasper, to
Lois Bernice Addison and Ross Henry Smith, Sr.
Neva enjoyed plants and african
violets. She was a great seamstress. Neva was very good at putting together
picture puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter,
Cheryl Young and her husband, Kenneth, of Nederland; grandchildren, Amber Lamb
and her husband, Dallas, of Katy; Dianna Young and Justin Young, both of
Nederland; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Zaylie, Destiny, Marcus, and Matthew; and
brothers, Ross Henry Smith, Jr. and his wife, Eva, of Bridge City and Forest
Lynn Reed and his wife, Frances, of Jasper.
Neva is preceded in death by her
husband, Dennis Corson; son, Cody Corson; grandson, Kenneth “Kenny” Young III;
and great-grandson, Leon Lamb.
Memorial contributions may be
made in Mrs. Corson’s name to First United Methodist Church Youth Program, 104
North 13th Street, Nederland, Texas 77627.
A private family committal will
be held at Broussard’s Crematorium at a later date.
