Pamala Diane Burgin, 56, of Kountze, died Monday, July 13, 2015. She was born on September 12, 1958, in Lufkin, to Artie Fairchild Denby and William Denby.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Burgin; children, Stephanie Freeman and her husband, Ronnie, of Vidor; Gena Carter and her husband, Shawn, of Kountze; and Marleisha Jacob and her husband, Mark, of Colorado; grandchildren, Hunter Carter, Austin Carter, Dyllon Barge, Chase Barge, Aaron Jacob, and Alex Jacob; great-grandchild, Aiden Barge; sisters, Wanda Wankan and her husband, Don, of Huntington; and Judy Pace and her husband, Wesley, of Wildwood; brother, Gary Denby of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many loving friends. She is preceded in death by her mother; and father, sister, Karen Jones.
A gathering of Pam’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Kountze, 100 West Monroe Street, Kountze. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2015, at the church, with her interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
