Ruby Myers Trahan, 78, of Winne, died Monday, July 6, 2015..
She was born on October 28, 1936, in Welsh, Louisiana, to Azalie Gobert and
Arthur Myers, Sr., and had been a resident of the Winnie area for thirty years.
Mrs. Trahan is survived by her husband, Milton Trahan of
Winnie; daughters, Troyetta Marr of Santa Fe; Debbie Trahan and Susan Trahan,
both of Hamshire; Ann Frugia and her husband, Dicky, of Winnie; and Pam Bryant
and her husband, Gary, of Kountze; son, Jeff Trahan and his wife, Carey, of
Grapeland; a host of grandchildren;
numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris DeYoung of Winnie and Nola Manuel
of Welsh, Louisiana; brother, Arthur Myers, Jr. and his wife, Marie, of Kountze; sisters-in-law,
Marion Hoffpauir and her husband, Tootie and Beatrice LeJune; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
She is preceded in death by parents; son, Ron Crump; three
brothers; and two sisters.
A gathering of Mrs. Trahan’s family and friends will be from
5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West
Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Funeral services for Mrs. Trahan will be 10:00 a.m.,
Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Fairview
Cemetery, Winnie.
