Violete Siryani

Violete Siryani, 86, of Houston, died Thursday, July 2, 2015. She was born on August 20, 1928, in Homs, Syria, to Chamseh Abboud and Chafik Siryani.

Violete is survived by her daughters, Najwa Badlissi and her husband, Joseph; Mona Sioufi and her husband, Ghassan; Nihal Sabbagh and her husband, Nasser; sons, Nabil Touk and his wife, Karina and Nazih Touk and his wife, Houda; brother, Afif Siryani; grandchildren, John Badlissi, Michael Badlissi, Joseph Sioufi, Lama Sioufi, Rana Sioufi, Michael Sabbagh, Lara Sabbagh, Carla Sabbagh, Alex Touk, Marleen Touk, Rolly Touk, and Kerry Touk; and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.

A Trisagion will be 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2015, at St. Michael Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 680 North 15th Street, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at St. Michael Orthodox Cemetery, Beaumont.
