Betty
Ruth Kinsala O達annion, 89, of Lumberton, passed away peacefully at her home on
Saturday, June 27, 2015. She was born on September 15, 1925, in Palmer, Texas,
to Bessie Kinsala Ranton and Robert Kinsala. She had been a longtime resident
of Lumberton.
Betty
was a devoted wife for sixty years, and a mother who enjoyed sewing and caring
for others. She was a faithful member of Northwest Church of Christ.
Survivors
include her daughter, Beverly Hooks and her husband, Roy, of Lumberton; son,
Drake O達annion and his wife, Bridget, of Lumberton; daughter-in-law, Mary
O達annion of League City; and grandchildren, Lori Hurd and her husband, Vince;
Sara Hooks; Michael O達annion and his wife, Kelley; Darla Carter and her
husband, Dotry; L奪on Allen and her husband, Russell; Robert O達annion and his
wife, Jessie; Michele Cross; and Todd Cross and nine great-grandchildren.
She
is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Layton O達annion; son, Terry
O達annion; and one sister; and two brothers.
The
family would like to give special thanks to Altus Hospice, Joyce Tallina, and
Dana Henderson NP for the good care of our loving mother.
A
gathering of Mrs. O達annion痴 family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until
8:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2015, at Broussard痴, 1605 North Major Drive,
Beaumont. Her graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2015,
at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont. Serving as
pallbearers will be Michael O達annion, Robert O達annion, Vince Hurd, Mark
Banks, Mark Goad, and Jack Pryor.
