Patsy Jean Whitmire, 59, of
Silsbee, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
She was born on April 29, 1956, in Pascagoula,
Mississippi, to Helen Turner
Dunaway and Robert W. Dunaway, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter,
Jennifer Lynn Tackett of Evadale; grandchildren, Breann Tackett and Devin
Tackett; mother, Helen Dunaway of Silsbee; and siblings, Larry Charles Dunaway
and his wife, Kathi, of Call; and Janice Plaunty and her husband, Albert, and
Keith Dunaway and his wife, Melinda, all of Silsbee. She is preceded in death by her father,
Robert W. Dunaway, Sr.; husband, John E. Whitmire; and brother, Robert W.
Dunaway, Jr.
A gathering of Mrs. Whitmire’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 19,
2015, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery
Road, Silsbee.
Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015, at
Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest
Lawn Memorial
Park, Beaumont.
