Stephen “Steve” Randolph Haylock, 55, passed away June 6,
2015. Steve had resided in the Dallas area for the past
15 years and was employed with Darling Homes.
He was born in Port Arthur, Texas, was raised in Nederland,
Texas and graduated from Nederland High School.
He is preceded in death by his father Edward Haylock, Sr;
sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Womack, and sister Darla Haylock –Shaffer.
Mr. Haylock is survived by his mother, Celeste Haylock-Jefferson
of Orange, Texas; brother, Edward Haylock, Jr and ex-wife Tanja Anderson of Dallas,Texas; son,
Austin Haylock and his wife Colette and children Christian and Nicole of Santa Clarita, California; son, Cody Folmar
of Hammond, Louisiana; daughter, Valerie Haylock and granddaughter Kaylee of
Lake Dallas, Texas; step-brother, Wayne Jefferson and wife Cindy of Nederland,
Texas; step-brother, Steve Griffin of Lumberton, Texas; companion, Evelyn Knapp
and daughter Jacquelyn of The Colony, Texas; nephews, Richard Dale Rodgers,
Gaersen Bailey, and Braxton Parker; niece,
Brean Haylock; and step-mother, Julie Haylock.
A gathering of Mr. Haylock’s family and friends will be from
6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 13,
2015, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park,
Groves.
