Jimmie Lou Coco, 84, of
Beaumont, died Monday, June 8, 2015, in her home. She was born on February 19,
1931, in Beaumont, to Charity Howell Redmond and James A. Redmond, and was a
lifelong resident of the area. Jimmie loved her family very much. Her greatest
joy was having her entire family in her home for the holidays.
Survivors include her
loving husband of sixty-two years, Joseph E. Coco, Sr. of Beaumont; children,
Joseph E. Coco, Jr. and his wife, Margot, of Corpus Christi; and Sheila M.
Bottinelli of Anaheim Hills, California; sister, Pat Collins and her husband, Robert, of Houston; grandchildren, Tyler Coco,
Alyssa Bottinelli, Katie Bottinelli, and Jared Coco; and great-grandson, Wyatt
Coco.
Jimmie is preceded in
death by her parents; and granddaughter, Lauren Coco.
A gathering of Mrs.
Coco’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday,
June 10, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral
service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Broussard’s, with her
entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
