Margaret "Jeannie" Jean Nunn

Margaret
Jean “Jeannie” Nunn, 72, of Beaumont, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015. She was born on December 14, 1942, in
Oskaloosa, Iowa, to Luverna Arlene McNeal Rice and William Lloyd Rice.
Jeannie
was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend. She never met a
stranger. Jeannie enjoyed fishing, time spent with family and
friends, her date nights at Texas Roadhouse with her husband, and she loved
playing her games on facebook. She will
be greatly missed.
Survivors
include her husband of forty years, Robert Nunn; children, Alan Barnes and his
fiancé Lisa Matthews; Shari Morotti and her husband, John; and Bill Barnes;
grandchildren, Ashley Breaux, Todd Barnes, Kylee Matthews, and J.C. Reynolds;
great-grandchildren, Grayson Breaux and Brynlee Matthews; and brothers, James Rice and his wife,
Marylinn and Art Rice and his wife, Cheryl.
She
is preceded in death by her parents.
The
family would like to extend a special thank you to all her medical staff,
Baptist Hospital, and her hospice caretakers.
A
gathering of Mrs. Nunn’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00
p.m., with her memorial service at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Elk’s
Lodge, 11431 Highway 90, Beaumont. Cremation arrangements were handled
under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
