Shirley Mae Solleder, 89, of Beaumont, died Saturday, May 23, 2015.  She was born on July 19, 1925, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Lola Landry Levis and Elzie I. Levis, and had lived in the Beaumont area since 1939.

Shirley is survived by her son, Stephen Edward Fowler, of LaBelle; stepdaughters, Connie Cunningham and Kathy Solleder; granddaughter, Stephanie Anderson, of St. Louis, Missouri; grandson, Tom Lloyd, Jr., of Baltimore, Maryland; brother, Larry L. Levis, of Houston; and many more loving family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Thomas Solleder; parents; and daughter, Susan Cryer.

A Christian Vigil for Mrs. Solleder will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
