Sandra Ann Isaacs, 66, of Crystal Beach died Friday, May 22, 2015. A native and lifelong resident of the area, she was born on October 21, 1948, in Port Arthur, to Eva Marie Richard and Otto Exor Abshire.

Sandra loved the beach and cooking. She was a cheerleader in high school and was always a very positive person. Sandra loved her grandchildren and couldn’t spend enough time with her family. She got along with everybody and had a heart as big as Texas.

Survivors include her husband of nineteen years, Tim Isaacs of Crystal Beach; son, Rocky McDonald and his wife, Kim, of Lumberton; daughter, Shaye Morgan and her husband, Larry, of Herrin, Illinois; grandchildren, Taylor and Kendall McDonald; Ashlynn Swartz; Nick and Thomas Tobin; and Zack and Charles Isaacs; and sisters, Val Bridgeman of Fannet and Jonnie Abshire of Beaumont.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Joyce Crothers.

A gathering of Mrs. Isaacs’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Christian Vigil at 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 25, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
