Alice
Denby Carrington, 88, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Christus Hospital
- St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born
on June 18, 1926, in Wiergate, Texas, to Mary Belle Burnett Denby and Arch
James Denby, and had been a longtime resident of the Beaumont area, and a fifty
- plus year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Wisteria Chapter # 71.
Alice
is survived by her daughters, Carol Ann Carrington LeBleu and husband, Carl, of
Junction, Texas, and Diana Marie Carrington Robertson and husband, Kevin, of
Beaumont; son, William D. Carrington, Jr. of Beaumont; grandchildren, Duncan
Robertson, of Beaumont; Callie Robertson, of Beaumont and her fiancé, Daniel
Zinn, of Buna; and Katie Robertson of Beaumont; step-grandson, Troy LeBleu and
wife, Nicki and Russell LeBleu and wife,
Mary; step-great-grandchildren, Devin, Cody, Hannah, Hayli, Austin, and Alyse
LeBleu; and sister, Doris Waldhelm of Portland, Texas.
She
is preceded in death by her husband, William Duncan Carrington, Sr., sisters,
Dorothy Dix Parfait, Audrey Denby, and Janice Bruce, and brother, James Patrick
Denby.
Her
cremation was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of
Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
