Juliet
Samuelson Bonura, 97, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Beaumont
Health Care, Beaumont. She was born on September 20, 1917, in New Orleans,
Louisiana, to Maude Brockhoeft Samuelson and Abraham Samuelson, and had been a longtime
resident of the area.
Juliet
is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann Lombard and her husband, Walter, of Beaumont
and Maude Anna Borel and her husband, David, of Nederland; son, Gary Frank
Bonura, of Beaumont; sister, Bette Davis, of Estes Park, Colorado; niece, Anna
Brown and her husband, Howard, of Beaumont; four grandchildren; ten
great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; friend, Marlis Markantonio, of
Estes Park, Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She
is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Jesse Bonura; son, Michael
Bonura; three sisters; and two brothers.
A
Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Bonura will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m.,
Saturday, May 9, 2015, in the Chapel of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys
Avenue, Beaumont. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont, under
the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
