Harold A. “Jughead” Woods, Jr.,
77, of Honey Island, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, in Beaumont. He was born on
November 1, 1937, in Woodville, to Martha Maclin and Harold A. Woods, Sr., and
had been a long time resident of the area.
Harold was a Park Ranger with the
Department of Parks and Wildlife, and he also retired from the Texas Department
of Transportation.
He is survived by his daughter,
Robin Woods, of Nederland; sons, Clint Woods and his wife, Connie, of LaBelle;
Terry Woods and his wife, Shelly, of Groves; and Scott Woods and his wife,
Paula, of Warren; sisters, Sandra McKee and Carolyn Handley and her husband,
James, all of Nederland; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A gathering of Mr. Woods’ family
and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with his Rosary
recited at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements were held under the direction of
Broussard’s, Nederland.
