Vera Mae Griffin, 87, of Kountze, died Saturday, April 25, 2015.  She was born on March 29, 1928, in Winters, to Lena Mae Wyatt Herridge and Thomas Herridge.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Griffin; children, Sharon Wilson of Llano; Gary Griffin and his wife, Jackie and Pam Krukow and her husband, Darrell, all of Kountze; and Darrell Griffin of New Braunfels; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents; son, David Wilson; grandsons, Aaron Boyd and Chris Dunlap; and sisters and brothers.

Mrs. Griffin’s cremation arrangements were handled by Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
