Arthur Lee Brown, 85, of Silsbee,
died Monday, April 27, 2015, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care, Silsbee. He was born
on December 2, 1929, in Goose Creek,
to Iris White Brown and Hugh Brown.
Survivors include his children,
Albert Leon Sontag of Florida; Arthur Lee Sontag and his wife, Beverly, of
Kountze; Kenneth Hugh Sontag; Marvin Wayne Brown and his wife, Cindi; Craig Stewart Brown; and
Pichello “PJ” Lane and her husband, Michael, all of Palestine; eight
grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and
many dear friends in Mountain View, Arkansas and Buna, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his
parents; and great-great-grandson, Dylan Lockhart.
A gathering of Mr. Brown’s family
and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at
11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church,
1360 Highway 327 East, Silsbee. His interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery,
Buna, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
