Juanita Woodard, 93, of Silsbee,
died Sunday, April 26, 2015. She was
born on May 3, 1921, in Lufkin,
to Elizabeth Prince Thomas and Oscar Thomas. Juanita retired from Minimax
grocery store.
Survivors include her children,
Charlie Woodard and his wife, Sherry, of Silsbee; Virginia “Gina” Collins and
her husband, Bob, of Buna; and Bobby Woodard and his wife, Gretchen, of
Silsbee; grandchildren, Cristi Fountain, Cathy Burt, Molly Thibodeaux, Curt
Woodard, Clint Woodard, Jason Karnes, and Andrew Karnes; ten great-grandchildren;
and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Hammond Ellis Woodard; and three brothers. A gathering of Mrs. Woodard’s family and friends will begin
at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April
28, 2015, at Broussard’s, 490
Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow
at R.S. Farmer Cemetery,
Silsbee.
