Lillie F. Patton, born to Vladimir Zapalac
and Louise Sodolak Zapalac in Sealy, Texas, died Saturday morning, April 25,
2015 in Waco. She was 89 years of age and had been a longtime resident of
Winnie TX. She was preceded in death by her
parents; sister, Clara Zapalac Sledge; brother, Willie Frank Zapalac; brother,
Frank Willie Zapalac; and daughter-in-law, Virginia Patton. She is survived by her
husband of 68 years, Philip Brusher Patton, Jr. of Waco.
The family she leaves behind includes her
children, Michael Patton of Baytown, Patti Patton Royal of Waco, Don Patton and
wife Denise of Beach City, and Scott Patton of Chino Valley AZ; her six grandchildren;
and her six great grandchildren. She is
also survived by sister-in-law Dorothy Zapalac, sister-in-law Jeniva Zapalac,
niece, and nephews.
The Patton Family wishes to extend its
gratitude to the nurses and caregivers of Wesley Woods Health &
Rehabilitation of Hewitt and of Providence Hospice of Waco.
A gathering of Mrs. Patton’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00
p.m., Tuesday April 28, 2015, at Broussard’s Mortuary, 134 Buccaneer Dr, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday April 29,
2015, at St Louis Catholic Church, 315 Buccaneer Dr, Winnie. Father Neil Arce officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
