Leslie Karen Watts, 58, of
Groves, died Friday, April 24, 2015, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas,
Port Arthur. She was born on April 2, 1957, in Port Arthur, to Gloria Green and
Joseph Poche, Jr., and had been a lifelong resident of the area.
Leslie enjoyed cooking and, more
especially, cooking for family and friends. She enjoyed the beach, fishing, and
crabbing. She loved shopping for her grandchildren. Leslie will be remembered
as a loving wife and mother, and a devoted grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of
twenty years, Paul Watts, of Groves; son, Kristopher Creel and his wife,
JoAnna, of Groves; daughters, Felicia Watts and Teresa Cottongin and her
husband, Randy, all of Kirbyville; grandchildren, Dakota, Katelynn, Kelsey,
Jaden, Abigail, Jake, Greenlee, and Gunner; mother, Gloria Poche of Port
Neches; father, Joseph Poche, Jr. of Port Acres; brother, Ricky Poche and his
wife, Doris, of Fred; sister, Lisa Poche of Port Neches; and numerous other
family and friends. She will be especially missed by her faithful four legged
companions.
A gathering of Mrs. Watts family
and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at
Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service
will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to
follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
