James LeBlue, Sr.
December 19, 1937 - April 25, 2015
James W. LeBlue, Sr., 77, of Port Neches, went home
to be with his SAVIOR on April 25, 2015. He was born on December 19, 1937, in
Beaumont, to Rose and Francois LeBlue, and was raised in China, Texas.
James was a pipefitter with Local 195 in his early
working years. The job he loved the most was working for Port Neches-Groves
High School for over seventeen years. Along with maintaining school grounds and
sports fields, he also painted the big Indian on the football field for the
Homecoming games. James loved attending the football games, and even after
retirement, he always stood on the sidelines with the coaches. James was a
member of First Baptist Church Nederland.
He is survived by his children, Rose Placette,
Kelli Gore, and James LeBlue, Jr. and his wife, Cindy; Sisters and brother,
Grace Burrell, Gladys Taylor, and Vernon LeBlue; seven grandchildren; thirteen
great-grandchildren; and his dearest companion, Linda Campbell.
James was preceded in death by his first wife,
Nina; Mother of his children, and second wife, Betty; parents, Rose and
Francois; brother, Frank LeBlue; and sister, Dorothy Mouton.
A gathering of Mr.
LeBlue’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday,
April 28, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A
celebration of life will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at
Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port
Neches.
