John
W. Mazzola, 72, of Bevil Oaks, died Friday, April 24, 2015. He was born on
December 17, 1942, in Beaumont, to Lydia Hinson Mazzola and Sam Mazzola, and
had been a lifelong resident of the area. John was employed with the Beaumont Fire
Department before retiring as supervisor from Mobil Oil after thirty years of
employment.
He
is survived by his wife, Carolyn Mazzola, of Bevil Oaks; sister, Pat Davis and
her husband, Doyle, of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A
gathering of Mr. Mazzola’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00
p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 27, 2015, at Broussard’s,
with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
