William "Bill" Harvey Bettes

William “Bill” Bettes, 72, of Winnie, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Christus Hospital St Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born December 5, 1942, to Julia Paty Bettes and Fred Bettes , in Lebanon, Tennessee. Bill had been a resident of the Winnie area for almost eight years.

Survivors include his son, Jeff Bettes and his wife, Kristy of Flower Mound; grandchildren, William Bettes and Christian Bettes, both of Flower Mound; sisters, Bette Sue Filson, of Lebanon, Tennessee and Mary Pillar, of Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. Bettes was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kristina Bettes; and brother, Jim Bettes.

A gathering of Mr. Bettes’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
