Gloria Jean Brown

Gloria Jean Brown, 88, of Nederland, died Saturday, April 18, 2015. She was born on May 29, 1926, in Woodville, to Alice Marie Hackett and James Eddie Siau.

Survivors include her daughter, Juanita Judkins and her husband, Joel, of Port Arthur; son, George Brown and his wife, Shannon, of Lindale; grandchildren, Crystal Brown, Molly Judkins, Trevor Brown, Travis Brown, and Theron Brown; great-granddaughter, Ava Brown; brother, Charles Siau and his wife Becky, of Easley, South Carolina; and special friend, Gayle Stone of Nederland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sudley John Brown; brothers, Eddie Siau and Gerald Siau; and sister, Nettie Barefield.

A gathering of Mrs. Brown’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, 3098 Highway 69, Nederland.
