LouElla Moss, 95, of Groves died
Wednesday, April 15, 2015. She was born on April 25, 1919, in Sulphur,
Louisiana, to Olite Hebert and Henry Lachausse, and was a resident of the area
for over eighty-six years.
LouElla was a member of the Red
Hats Society and St. Charles Women’s Guild.
Survivors include her daughters,
Maureen LeBlanc and her husband, Ray, of Beaumont and Lana Patteson and her
husband, C.L., of Seguin; sons, Walter Moss, Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Oro
Valley, Arizona and Kent Moss and his wife, Nancy, of Groves; eleven
grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Walter Joseph Moss, Sr.; and siblings.
A gathering of Mrs. Moss’ family
and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.,
Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street,
Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, 4100 Lincoln, Groves. Interment will follow at
Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
