Isaac Thomas Henry, Sr.

Isaac Thomas Henry, Sr., 87, of
Fannett, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015, at
Harbor Hospital of Southeast Texas, Beaumont, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on February 28, 1928, in Rose City, to Anastasie Bouillion Henry
and Ambrose Henry. Isaac was retired
from Air Liquide, after thirty-four years of dedicated service.
Isaac
was a devoted husband, father and PawPaw. He was a man of God and of honor, who
will be missed by many.
He
is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Clara Henry; sons, David Henry
and his wife, Elgene, of Victoria; Isaac Henry, Jr., and his wife, Bonnie, of
Fannett; Bob Henry and his wife, Elizabeth, of Magnolia; daughter, Liz
Buffington and her husband, Mike, of Lumberton; twelve grandchildren;
twenty-one great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Sonnier and Agnes Johnson, both of Winnie, Shirley Rutherford, of Nederland; and many
nieces, nephews and friends.
He
was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Anita; brother, Ray; and
sister, Dorothy.
The family would like to thank
the wonderful, caring staff at Harbor Hospital of Southeast Texas, Beaumont,
and extend a special thanks to Dr. Keith Stout.
A Rosary
for Mr. Henry will be recited at 6:00 p.m., with a gathering of family and
friends to follow until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Street, Winnie. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., April 7, 2015, at St. Mary Catholic
Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, Fannett, with interment to follow at Fairview
Cemetery, Winnie.
In lieu of flowers, the family
requests that donations be made in Mr. Henry’s name to the St. Mary’s Altar
Society, Catholic Daughters or the Knights of Columbus of St. Mary’s Catholic
Church, or a charity of one’s choice.
