Joshua Kyle Loncon Thornell, 25,
of Port Arthur died Sunday, March 29, 2015, in Nederland, of health
complications. He was born on March 16, 1990, at Mid-County Hospital in
Nederland. Although, born in Nederland;
he was a Port Acretian thru and thru.
Josh was raised by Shirley
"Mom" Thornell and her late husband Dillmer "Pop"
Thornell. He was born to Mark Daniel
Loncon and Candy Morgan.
Josh was a graduate of Parkview
Baptist School in Sulphur, Louisiana. He
participated in several sports, but his favorite sport was baseball. Josh could always be found enjoying time
around a bonfire with his best friends.
Josh, being only 25, is survived
by numerous family members and countless friends.
A gathering of Josh’s family and
friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2015, at
Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service
will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with
entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to the Josh Thornell Memorial Account at 5 Point
Credit Union.
