Preston Berwick, 69, of Port Neches, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on June 30, 1945, in Port Arthur, to Mary Joyce Castille and Homer Preston Berwick, Sr.

Preston enjoyed any kind of sport. He loved to eat and take care of his dog, Charlie, but most of all he loved to read his bible.

He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Jane Berwick, of Nederland; daughter, Sandra LeAnn Moore-Hanvey and her husband, Gene, of Merridianville, Alabama; son, Robert Wayne Berwick and his wife, Corina, of San Antonio; and daughters, Pamela Dawn Harvey and her husband, James and Denise Darlene Metcalf and her husband, Michael, all of Nederland; nine grandchildren; sister, Sandra Louise Thompson and her husband, Robert, of Baytown; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preston is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Joyce Marie “Sissie” Berwick.

A gathering of Mr. Berwick’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 30, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
