Robert W. “Robbie” Hoose, Jr.,
51, of Beaumont, passed into the Lord’s arms on Monday, March 9, 2015,
surrounded by his loving family. He was
born September 12, 1963, in Sasebo, Japan, to Rose Ella Vance Hoose and Robert
William Hoose, Sr. Robbie was a United
States Army veteran.
He was known as Robbie or Robb to
most of his friends and family. Robb was known for his quick wit and comedic
nature. He could always make us laugh, that’s for sure! Robb was also
passionate about sports and made sure all of his nieces and nephews knew how to
throw a football or dribble a basketball. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed
spending time at the lake.
Robb lived many places such as,
Long Island, New York; Pacific Grove and Long Beach, California; Palm Bay,
Florida; and Knoxville, Tennessee, but his home was in Beaumont, Texas. Robbie
always had a smile and a hug for his loved ones. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his mother,
Rose E. Fox; sisters, Terri McKuster and her husband, Willie; Laura Bohannon
and her husband, Richard; Tina Kozlowski; and Pam Hoose and her husband, Lance;
and brothers, Greg Hoose, Rory Fox, Jeff Fox, and Greg Fox.
Robbie is preceded in death by
his father, Robert W. Hoose, Sr.; and his step father, Roy Lee Fox.
A gathering of Robbie’s family
and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2015,
at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His cremation was held at
Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
