Austin Cody Thornton, 30, of
Village Mills, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015.
He was born in Galveston
on September 5, 1984, to Deborah Fairchild Thornton and Jimmy Thornton.
Survivors include his wife,
Jessica Thornton of Oklahoma; parents, Debbie and Jimmy Thornton of Wildwood;
grandmother, Pollye Bradsby and her husband, Bob, of Lumberton; siblings, Gayle
Franks and her husband, Tim, of Beaumont; Glynda Anderson and her husband,
Bruce, of Fannett; Gary Thornton and his wife, Gina, Geoffery Thornton and his
wife, Amy, and Alexie Rutledge, all of Lumberton; and Meghan Been and Dylan
Been, both of Oklahoma; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his birth mother,
Janet Boland; brother, Andy Thornton; grandmother, Gayle Vance; and
great-grandmother, Lillian Young.
A gathering of Austin’s
family and friends will be 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2015, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road,
Silsbee, with his graveside service to follow at Resthaven Cemetery,
Silsbee.
