Brian Short

Brian Short, 59, of Nederland, died Friday, February 27, 2015. He was born on October 23, 1955, in Port Arthur, to Janet Marie Guillot and Frank Arthur Short, Jr., and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Brian enjoyed all sports and music.

He is survived by his brothers, Arthur Short III and his wife, Rhonda, of Friendswood and Stephen Short and his wife, Jeanette, of Webster; sister, Cecile Short Turner and her husband, Carnell, of Brazoria; and eleven nieces and nephews.

Brian is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Elaine Holland.

A committal for Mr. Short will begin at 2:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Stivers Drive, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
