Wesley Thomas Horne

Wesley Thomas Horne, 41, of Port Neches, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015. He was born on August 23, 1973, in Nederland.

Wesley enjoyed hunting, cooking on the grill, and working on and racing hot rod cars.

He is survived by his parents, Tom and Beth Horne of Port Neches; daughter, Janee Horne of Round Rock; longtime girlfriend and love of his life, Joanna Ford and her son, Jude; grandmother, Pat Morrison; and uncles, Larry Morrison of Port Neches and Bob Horne and his wife, Reggie, of Beaumont. He will be especially missed by his faithful dog, Bobo.

Wesley is preceded in death by his grandfather, Arnold Wesley Morrison; and grandparents, Thomas and Faye Horne.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the community for all the thoughtful gestures during this time.

A gathering of Mr. Horne’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015, at First United Methodist Church, 1826 Nall Street, Port Neches. His memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015, at First United Methodist Church. A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
